Over the last few days, the weather has been scorching. I've just been chilling out really, taking in a few more sights and meeting a few more people.

Yesterday I took a Kayak round the back of Motumaire Island. There wasn't a cloud in the sky or another soul on the island so I just wedged myself in the sand and lay there for an hour or so soaking up the rays, half asleep, while the waves lapped over the rocks - peace and tranquility at it's finest.

Today was another scorcher, so I took advantage and trekked up in to the hills to the highest point of the 'bush walk' that provides glorious views over the bay (see pics!)

I got back and caught up on the diving manual, choosing my elective dives for the course. I've decided to indulge in the:-

- Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive
- Underwater Photography Dive
- Wreck Dive (Rainbow Warrior!)

It's an early start so I shall have an early night. I'm a little bit nervous but at the same time, very excited.

Another quick classic - I've just met my new room mate, 'Erik' from the Netherlands. He's here for two days to dive the Rainbow Warrior, on the same boat, doing the same dive. He's also the third Dutch person I've met that's nearly seven foot!
