The Time of my Life...

VIDEOS NOW UPLOADED! SEE ABOVE!

'In 2004 I did something different. Without a shred of emotion I shrugged off the house, the job, the car and the bike. I shrugged off everything. Shortly after I bought a cheap one way ticket and flew over the equator with a pounding heart and a burning desire to live a different life, one of randomness. The rest is right here, in these pages.
Along the way I've experienced things I couldn't possibly have prepared myself for, things I didn't even know existed. And along the way of course, I've met some incredible people - simple everyday randoms like me following their own dreams, and the occasional diamonds that have changed the course of my path forever.
I've also met someone else. This is 'his'-tory.
Enjoy..'

 ---------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE! ------------------------------------------------------------

Where am I? - In Thailand, after an absolutely blinding time in Malaysia (see cheeky preview above..)
Got loads of updates and pics for yers but will have to upload when I get chance - this thing's gonna cut off in a few minutes. Spent the last couple of days blasting round like lunatics on scooters, through a horrendous onslaught of tropical rain - dodging SNAKES(!) and screaming all the way through some awesome mountainous beauty en-route to the coast. Met some great locals including young James our barman, who we took out for the day and climbed the 1,237 painful (we were almost crying) steps that deliver you to the top of the Tiger Cave Temple - a wonderfully ornate Buddhist monument that overlooks a delightful spread of hump-like mountains in the distance. The scenery here's amazing, absolutely amazing, as are the people. Even the dogs smile here, it's f'kn amazing. I'll put the pictures up when I can.
Anyway gotta go, just thought I'd drop in a quick update. Catch you soon, much love.
I'm having the time of my life. (02 July, 2008)
- Sunrise over 'The Remarkables', Queenstown, New Zealand.. (5:30am)
Where have I been up to now? - Just crossed the Australian continent by motorbike and clocked up almost 30,000 back-breaking kilometres through 87 towns and cities. This was after returning to New Zealand to finish the wonders of the north island, also by bike. Before returning to New Zealand I took a lengthy jaunt around Spain, Portugal and a highly spontaneous roadtrip across California and Nevada with some randoms..
For a bit of background info and to find out how all this crazy madness started, click here! Or you might want to start from the very beginning, in Staffordshire, England.

I've got a long way to go yet, and it would be great to hear from you along the way. Please feel free to post your comments, drop me a line or sign the guestbook.
..until then crack a coldie and grow a grin!
Scott..

Beautiful. Just Beautiful. (reply) Jul 26, 2006 02:49 EST by nozzy
'Some people stand on the drive way of life and wacth the traffic pass them by. While others put the car in gear and drive. Engage the clutch and venture into the unknown.'
Jupe, you've done well.
Beautiful just beautiful.
