Well today started off with drizzle and overcast but I was determined to go into Brno and see the few sights that we had selected. Our first sight was some of the old buildings in the city. The laneways were verz small and all paved. We wandered into a church to have a look. We took some fotos and then was prroached by this little guy. I thought he was the vicar but it ended up that he was actually looking for donations. So I did my daily good task and gave him all the coin I had. He would have done well as I later realised that it added to about 200 Czech Kronur which would have bought him a nice meal at maccas.

After that we wandered throgh the market before we made our way to the largest church in Brno, it stood on the hill overlooking the city and had 2 massive towers on it. It was called Church of St Peter and Paul. After that we went to check out the crypt. Was bit disappointed when we saw the signs saying No Fotos allowed, but then we saw plenty of others taking pics inside so we thought "what the heck" and started snapping away as well.

Was very eerie looking at bodies of these ppl who had died in the late 1700,s - will get them up soon as I can. Rest of day was still rainy and the trams are always overloaded so we thought we would get home before the after work rush. Just relaxing now, reading, will have dinner at their restaurant and then probably an early night.

Re: Brrrr...
yes it certainly has that eerie feeling about it, especially when u think that these people were alive and working in this same building over 250 years ago.
