So Tamasz came to meet us and we went walking through the old part of Pesh. The capital is divided into 2 sections, Buda & Pest (pronounced Pesht). Buda houses the older part of the city with the great castles whereas Pest has the newer (but still old) churches and Govermnent buildings.

As we god closer to the Danube we thought that we would relax a bit and take a boat tour along the river. The river is lined with dozens of fancy looking ferry boats, all trying to attract the tourists.

Anyway have a look at the fotos we took to give you an idea of the trip. In the middle of the river is an island called Margaret Island, named after some queen. It is now also linked by bridge and is a favourite place for the locals. The ferry trip allowed us to walk on the island for an hour and then return us to the starting place. Took 3 hours in total.
