We were told that for a price of 1000 baht each (about $40aud) we could get our own exclusive boat ride up the King's river and around the smaller canals with a trip to the snake farm for a period of 2 hours. It was expensive, but we had got tired of being bumped about in the back of the tuk tuk and all the traffic fumes so we thought a boat trip might be just what we needed.

As you can see, it was very interesting how the houses are built over the water and how the ppl living there use small boats to get about. Enjoy the fotos
