Are next stop was Arequipa and our first real taste of altitude and its brother Coca leaves (the leaves help with altitude sickness). After our first really really early morning flights (I think we went to bed at Midnight and was up at 3:00 AM to get to our flight) we jumped in a van and drove 4 hours to Coca Canyon through deserts, volcanos, Lamas, and Canyons.

It was a beautiful drive and overall the altitude didn't kill us.
