"You Hold Stirling and You Control the Country"
The key to Scotish Independence was Stirling and its beautiful castle. We made the hour drive out there praying the weather will help us out and not unload on us. But in travelling you have to take those changes and enjoy whatever it gives you. Well it was really really windy so the rain would come and go all day, which in the end helped us out as it thinned the crowds. We took Lonely Planets advice and purchased the audio program and was glad we did as we spent the next 4 hours checking it out, listening to the audio and learning alot about the castle, the times, and history. It was small but a beautiful castle as they have been working a long time to restore it to its form at its height.
Luckily for us as we started home it started to pour on all those poor tour bus tourist. More thumbnails ...
