Pics Glad to see Chris is searching out 'live' stock for the ultra barn already. Those look like the perfect animals for herding and easy to clean up after too - but they might have difficulty pulling the wagon. Kudos to you boys for maintaining the party spirit even while enjoying a glass of tea. Sure looks like fun and the scenery is beautiful. Next shopping trip don't forget to pick up a burka for Barb, Susan and me!

Not bad for un cadeau d'anniversaire... but will it fit in your suitcase...The picture from your balcony is splendid. Tel Aviv sure look good from here. Tomorrow is the 9th, so can I ask the S brother to give the C brother a big, ÉNORME, kiss from us all. We look forward to more pictures and bon anniversaire Christopher from the gang in Montréal
Happy Birthday Chris! I guess this is one birthday you'll never forget! I hope you have a great Bday (maybe even see a real goat?) and a fantastic birthday dinner (no old hot dogs like in 2001).
Is that a bowl of popcorn beside the hookah? You both look very happy and relaxed. Hugs and kisses to you both. Looking forward to your next entry (birthday pictures please!) Lots of love Barb.
Happy Birthday Chris I just realized that I sent a comment to Steve's blog email and not this comment section so now I know what I'm doing I'll write it again.
Hope your dinner at the KD was memorable and that you didn't drink too much Mogan David wine!!!
You seem like you are both having a great time and seeing and experiencing all that the small but varied land of Israel has to offer. We enjoy reading the travel logs and the pictures.
Unfortunately we got back from New Orleans too late to phone you. He did try from down there but think he had the wrong number. We were evacuated from NO on Sunday morning (the had buses for tourists to get the the airport prior to its closing at 6pm). Even Bourbon St. was almost deserted on Sat. night except for a couple of Gay bars. Most smaller hotels had been closed and only one or two restaraunts were open. Sunday was totally deserted except for police and national guard. It was sureal like out of a movie. Got home after about 14 hours and makes you realize how good we have it here. Dennis went back to work a week ago today and is hating every minute. Happy Birthday once again Chris and hope you enjoy your remaining time in Israel. Shalom to both of you, Ken and Dennis
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS! Best wishes for a wonderful birthday, Chris. Will have a tequila shot in your honour tonight (ah, who am I kidding we'll be doing that anyway to get our livers ready for Vegas) and look forward to sharing some post-birthday tequila when you and Stephen return.
Hope you can find a birthday crown to wear on your special day...and if you can't find one in the local dollar(!) store...I'm sure you can find one amongst the ruins or in a museum. After all it is your 60th and Canada Customs guys are okay with that as long as it is a birthday present :).
Hugs to you both...J
While the Boss is away.................. Good Morning,
As I was driving in this morning in my big purple gashole...... stuck in traffic, I wished I was there enjoying a nice cold holy beer. Then it occurred to me 'what would I wear?' Anyway I am so happy for you both enjoying your adventure and ticking off another thing off your BUCKET LIST!! I on the other hand have been hard at work, It's been 18 minutes since my last curse word and I haven't abused anyone! (My bucket list obviously need some work) Anyway Cheers to you both and Stephen all is fine here.....well except for that one family but its okay, they agreed on a cash settlement, which reminds me we are out of cheques.......and remember that new backhoe...yeah never mind! Enjoy your trip
Can't wait to hear all about it!
PS.. Any Religious sightings??????????
