Amazing Santorini

Ok, its a race against time to write sometimes so i wanted to post up pictures first. Anyway, after a day and a hald in Athens we made it to Santorini yesterday morning by 7 am! It was a short flight and had an early wake up call of 3 am. However, Santorini is absolutely amazing! It is so beautiful here that pictures and words simply do not do it justice. It is one of the most amazing places ive been to so far, and it has been especially nice having celia here. As some of you know, yesterday was my birthday, big 33! It was truly a special birthday being here with my lovely! First of all, the scenery and panorama is second to none. Our hotel is on the cliff and we have a loevly terrace with views of the caldera and volcano. Yesterday we rented an atv for the day and cruised around the entire island spending about 3 hours at Perissa beach lounging, having a beer and swimming. After a full day of cruising, we went back to the room and watched the sun set over the caldera. It was truly amazing, as the sun stubbornly set at around 9pm! It seemed to hang in the sky forever, revealing an island below that had been obscured by the haze of the ocean. to finish such a nice day we had dinner at a local restuarant and had delicious food! Today we are off to the oclano and hot srpings and probably will party a bit tonight since last night we were so tired.
