. That was an interesting conversation with the front desk, but rules are rules and they could not seem to figure out a way around red tape. We watched the Colts game and went to a place called Outback Crab Shack. We got lost going there but finally made it. It was very cold, definitely a place that wasn't meant to be a wintertime destination. They did have a heater of sorts on the ceiling so when the family sitting under it left, we moved our table under it which was much more comfortable. Some people went to play an arcade machine or jute box while we waited for our food. I got gator, Miles and Bev got shrimp, I don't remember what Stephanie got, Dad got steak, and Luke got a shrimp po' boy sandwich. They had a special sauce for the gator, which was a mixture of several other condiments. I asked a bunch of questions and I think that the waitress was annoyed, or maybe just humored. At the end of the evening we had the worker take our group picture standing behind a bunch of gator heads. We started back towards the resort and laughed A BUNCH! When we got back to the room Dad went to the other room to watch tv/sleep, and the rest of us played games. We played toss up and the first 6 rounds of Phase 10. We went to bed around 11:00 because there was a busy day ahead of us for the next day. It was cramped quarters for the sleeping arrangement, but tomorrow would be better. We were each given a name. Money bit, Brainy bit, etc. Mine was poopy bit and Luke thinks I should end this journal entry as such.
Signing out until tomorrow
We woke up and went to the free continental breakfast. Dad was already there. It was actually pretty good with waffles, muffins, biscuits and gravy, etc. Luke finally came over around 9:15 just before the buffet was over. Dad took an apple and muffin back for Bev and Stephanie. Around 10:20 Miles and Bev took the shuttle to the airport to get the rental cars, then came and picked us up. We took off towards the hotel. We got to the resort but were unable to check in so we went to the Harley shop. Bev, Dad, and Stephanie each bought something. We went to the outlet mall and ate lunch there. Some of us got Chinese and the others got pizza. Miles and I bought two games at the game store. Next we went to the grocery store and got stuff for breakfast and lunch for the week. We went back to the resort but the room still wasn't ready. Miles and Luke played checkers, and the rest of us looked at information brochures. Finally they said we could check in. Wow, was the room ever tiny! The room next to it was much larger but we could not get into it until the next day
