Well we ended up taking a taxi cab from the plane ride which costs about 20 pounds a person! It was definitely worth it because it would have been a huge hassle to carry two large suitcases, one carry on, and a backpack to the airport on the tube...not to mention there is a lot of pick pocketing. First, we got off the plane and went into customs. Not so sure if the woman thought my picture was me until she looked at my VISA. Everyone's luggage arrived safely though! Thank goodness! We checked in with CAPA and immediately got a walking neighborhood tour. We saw Sloane's Square, King's Road, Victoria's station, and where our closest tube was located. Then we were able to try and get settled in. However, I brought WAY too much stuff, but I guess over packing is better than under packing. After all the packing our roommates minus Amanda were all very hungry so we went to a Pub nearby called The Belgravia S.W.I. I order a strongbow Cider and Small order of Fish and Chips (thought that would be the most appropriate choice! As roomies we got to know each other a bit better. We were all so so tired though that we wanted to go to bed early. well one of the roommates took the first shower and it flooded our bathroom ha ha! We have now figured out how to not do that! Then Erin and I were stuck with FREEZING COLD/ICE BATH water for our showers. After those couple fiascoes we went to bed....actually knocked out to go to bed is more like it!
