Fun facts that have occurred thus far:

Pants here mean underwear, do not say that...you use the word trousers

Cigarettes are referred to as fags...so someone said i am just going to take a fag out back...it does not mean they are going to go hook up with their same sex gender outback, just means they are going to go smoke a cig

It's around 55 degrees every day, it's pretty humid, my hair has been getting frizzy, obviously it has rained, but whatever I am over that

pubs close around 11 or 12, but the clubs close at like 8 AM

Taxis are super expensive, but necessary sometimes and to add on another note of taxis they are extremely safe (black cabs)  they have very in depth background checks and it takes 4 years for them to get their license because they need to know the area very well, its pretty cool actually!

the tube is amazing...gross and hot for sure, but quite an experience.

the buses are double decker...every single one of them, i have yet to go on one!

the Brits love to talk about religion and politics...so not my thing, so I am hoping I do not get many of these encounters

The one thing these Brits stand out with is their humor...EVERYTHING has a sexual connotation, it's pretty funny.  And everyone swears, but it is never at anyone and its in their language, they are never really aware that they are cursing so that has been interesting to see so far

I will try to update regularly so you can see the very interesting differences between the US and UK
Now I am trying to go to bed ha ha

Can you understand their accent or is it pretty difficult? Love hearing the fun facts!!

It's been pretty easy so far, the only problem is that they usually talk so quiet, unlike the Americans!
