I got a call today from AAFES. My background check and my request for logistical support came through today, so I get to start work next week as planned. I'm very happy. Soon I'll have my ID card and have access to a lot more in the area. Orientation is next Tuesday.
Mitbewohnerin Morgan and I went to the University of Oklahoma office on Ramstein today. I took interest in their Human Relations graduate program. It's a very agreeable mix of my undergraduate interests, which were Political Science and Peace & Conflict Studies. It will be a good fit for me because it gets me qualified for mediation and conflict intervention, as well as a wide variety of human resource areas.
This weekend we're going to the Netherlands to show Morgan Amsterdam and to enjoy the flower season. I've only been there when it was cold and rainy, so this will be a nice change.
