Hello all..........

Arrived safely after the 13 hour tain journey! What an experience that was! The train was like weve never seen before. It was like a prison cell with bunk beds. They come round at 9pm and change your table into beds, then lights out at 10pm.....1000 people all on the same train snoring! Guess you can imagine what that was like hey!! They even had Karaoke.....

Anyway, went treking on elephants deep in the jungle today for about 2 hours, absolutley amazing. Was so hot, and the noises in the jungle were like nothing else youve ever heard. After a hard day doing nothing, we then took to the jungle rivers for some hand made Bamboo rafting! The best experience so far! We stopped half off half way down the river for some rock diving and the local food emmmmm (insect heaven)

Following morning was an early start to the temple at Doi Sutep. We got blessed my the monkks to give us good luck! That seems to of left me alredy! Got an early start tomorrow heading for Chaing Klong on the Mekong river for a couple of days!

Sorry we havent put any photos on yet, but we are having a nightmare trying to find an internet cafe that we can do it, so bare with us.

Hope everybody is well, keep us informed of all your tales, it would be good to her from you.

Take care, love to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Comin' to gitcha!
Hi Sazzle, your trip sounds so cool already. Please don't give the monks a hard time - they probably saw it as the ultimate challenge to bless you ;-)

Sounds like you're trying to recreate Apocalypse Now on the river, I bet you both do a mean Brando ... 'The horror ... the horror'!

Anyway, I'm about half an hour from leaving for the airport myself. I'll make sure to give you a whoop whoop from Singapore - make sure you keep your ears open!
