well we've just started our little 3 week tour and i've already got off to a bad start. so far I've verbally abused the tour guide about where my money is being spent, broke the elevator of the fancy hotel we were staying in (in my defense we were rescuing people who were stuck on it), woke up late for the bus so made everyone wait around for me (made worse by the fact that i hadn't even met them at this point) and left the can of deoderant, which i ws in dire need of, back in Bolivia. But whats the point in dwelling in the past ay?

Puno was awesome. We spent a couple of days cruisin around lake titicaca and it made ya realise how bloody big the thing is. During our cruises we visited a few islands. The first was Uros, the manmade island. The island was made of reeds, the houses were made of reeds, the boats were made of reeds, the food.. reeds, the tools.. reeds, i even suspect some of the people may have been reeds 1 Unos, the reed island

. It was so cool.

We then visited a natural island and had a blast. We stayed with a host family who cooked us some really weird meals, full of ingredients i had never seen before. They owned a donkey (that we called dodge) who was lavished with our attention til it bit Stuart on the finger. It had then earnt our love forever. They also had pigs, sheep, ducks and one little fag.

That arvo we went out for a game of football, which is rediculously hard at 4000m altitude, and later that night we all got dressed up and went out to a traditional disco type dance thing which was loads of fun. All the old women kept asking us to dance but we had to sit out every second dance at least cause we were too unfit. The oldies danced all night.
