I was so sick on Saturday.  After 10 hours of dry heaves I was tired and my muscles were shaking so badly that all Rick could see were my eyes and arms twitching.  However, I was positive that I was fine and completely cured.  And being exhausted and not all with it my only answer to Rick all day was "Okay."  Rick said my eyeballs twitching really freaked him out and he began to question my mental ability to decide that I was okay.  The word okay seemed to become my mantra so I was sticking to it.

The night before Rick and I had gone to a woman's house that hosted a small restaurant.  The restaurant was very cute but I did wonder if the food was going to make me sick.  I had fish tacos, which was all the woman had left for dinner.  We were warned not to eat fish from the lake because it is so polluted.  Not wanting to be rude I ate it anyway.  However, Rick also ate the fish tacos and did not get sick.  I must have had something else during the day that made me so sick or have a weaker stomach than Rick.  Anyway, after being sick all day, I was finally able to drink and keep water in my stomach.  I went outside to enjoy the beautiful view and celebrate my stomach not doing any more flips.  Seriously, dry heaves are the worst and my got so bad I was simply worried about being able to take a breath.

My nena "baby" Dixie happily climbed next to me as if to say don't worry about it, things happen.  Attached is the picture took of my wonderful happy dog Dixie by my side as usual.  It is amazing how sick I could have been from eating something that everyone here probably eats daily.  I am hoping that with each traveling sickness I get, I will have a stomach that is a little stronger.  Either way, Dixie will be there to help.

GSE is my favorite thing to bring on trips.  Every time I am sick or want to prevent further stomach sickness I drink GSE with juice.  GSE is grapefruit seed extract and it works wonders.  It comes in a small bottle and you only need a few drops for each of its many uses.  When mixed with juice it can be ingested to kill bacteria.  Apparently GSE even kills Ecoli.  It can be mixed with water to make it safe to drink.  We also mix it with water to make a fruit and vegetable spray to kill bateria on our produce.  It can be mixed with water to clean cutting boards and for general purpose cleaning.
