My home away from home & the big party

As you can see, the Festa do Marcos was pretty crazy. We danced from 10pm until 4 in the morning. The party was very "chic" as Brazilians would say. Everyone was so dressed up, there was a live band and an open bar. I saw some people that I hadn't seen in five years since my exchange. It was probably one of the best parties I have ever been to. Sertaozinho was great, I stayed with my host family and spent a lot of time with Bruno and his family. I missed them all so much. My host parents were so happy that I was back, it really feels like coming home whenever I am back here. We only stayed for a weekend because it is very hot. Sertaozinho is a small town in the interior of Brazil. With this heat, you really need to be near a beach. We will eventually be making our way back there before Carnaval to spend a little more time with everybody. Now, we are heading to Vitoria to spend some time with Claudia. Vitoria is in the state of Espirito Santo on the coast of Brazil. It is supposed to be very nice. Claudia has time off from work now, so it is a good time to go visit her. Look for the next entry on Vitoria...coming soon!
