Today I returned to my favorite city in Europe, Venice. The family accompanied me on this journey as we took the Eurostar train and subsequent ferry to the island of San Marco where we found our quaint hotel. We took in the food, the sites, the sounds; had Bellinis at Harry's Bar where the likes of Emerson had drank before. We went into the church, which in my opinion has the best view in all of Italy. Looking out from the balcony over the square and gazing out to the water past the two gold pillars is simply breathtaking. This trip was a lot of fun, but quite curiously, the most fun was not had viewing art or eating the fresh seafood. Yes, the family had our greatest laughs with the pigeons. Daniel in particular had a way with these feathered friends. So now, may I present, Daniel, Lord of the Pigeons...
