Today I had my first classes at the Lorenzo School de' Medici. This semester I will be completing courses necessary for my double major at the University of Wisconsin: Business Management and Political Science. The course I selected are European Union, International Relations, International Business, and Internationl Marketing. Each class meets once a week for two and half hours. The nice part about my schedule is that I have class on only Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday which leaves the majority of the week open for traveling.

After classes I went to a local wine store to buy some Chianti to serve with dinner; tonight we were making tomato and mozzarella salad with balsamic vinaigrette, linguine with an assiago and cream sauce as well as sauteed chicken breast.

As dinner concluded we decided to go out to local discotheque where one of our friends in the same program was celebrating their birthday. Along the way we passed a bar with a costume party and ran into an American doing a stunning impression of the main character from the recent hit movie "Napolean Dynamite".

Upon arriving at the disco called "Space Electronic" I realized that it was also a karaoke bar. I was then persuaded to sing a song in celebration of the birthday being celebrated that evening. I've always found it better to stick to what I know best so I sang some Sinatra of Course.

I had sung Old Blue Eye's version of "That's Life" before so I belted it out as best I could. My friend was nice enough to capture the last chorus on video. To view this video, go the photo album section at the top of this entry in my travel log and click on the "That's Life" video file. It's hard to hear and see, but it is still fun to watch.
