Today was a day to be filled with glamour, beauty, and value. Today we were going to the fashion outlet mall outside of Florence in Villa Regianno. The group of eager students and I walked to the train station, Euros in hand, waiting to throw away our hard earned savings on designer apparel.

We arrived in Villa Regianno in half and hour and took a short taxi ride to the outlet. As we stepped out of the Mercedes we saw a true Mecca of shopping. Fendi, Gucci, Feragomo, Zegna, Pucci, Todds, Armani, and many more.

I ended up purchasing a blue, mosaic tie from Fendi and an orange cravat from Zegna. The clothing was marked down certainly but the prices were still high especially with the Euro exchange rate. None the less, I had my bounty and as the sun set over the hills above the mall we paused for coffee before the trip back.

To celebrate the successful shopping trip I decided to head back to our group's favorite rowdy night spot, Faces. Danny and I sipped on champagne as the hours rolled on; another great day in Firenze.
