On the 16th, I left Chicago. After I got my stuff to the hotel, I went shopping. I went to Potsdamer Platz and bought some clothes and souvenirs. On the 17th, I went to the German Historical Museum. It had over 2000 years worth of history of people and events. It included historic art, books, and even furniture. On the 18th, I went to the Museum of Photography, which includes photos from the famous photographer Helmut Newton. On the 19th, I went to the Brandenburg Gate, one of the most famous landmarks in the city. On the 20th, I went to the Deutsche Oper, the largest opera house in Berlin. This is where some of the greatest operas are performed. On the 21st, I traveled out of Berlin to Branitz Park. It had hills, plains, and ponds. It was very beautiful and a great thing to see. Finally, on the 22nd before I left, I went to eat at Restaurant Altes Zollhaus.
The weather was a little chilly so I brought along a jacket and some warmer clothes.
In total, I spent a little less than $3600, which left me with about $1900.
