Luckily for me, everyone else biked way too hard the day before and/or also got sick.  Therefore I had plenty of other people to be lame with and take the bus.  We went to the biggest tourist site on the island, way out on the northern tip.  Hammershus is the largest fortress/castle ruin in Northern Europe.  It's also free and almost everything is open to roam around in...unless it leads to a big cliff/pit and is off limits.

Anyways, we took lots of touristy photos.

We also got some funny looks from people as they aren't used to seeing American tourists in this area.  All the info signs were only in German and Danish as well.  A lot of people come out here just to hang out and have a few beers.

Oddly enough, people flock here because they ARE ruins and have that interesting state of disrepair.  Yet, one of the central buildings was covered in scaffolding...for restoration.    I'm a bit confused about what there is to restore.
