Well, today I was supposed to go on the Mon's Cliff tour, which basically consisted of 3 hours of hiking uphill.  However, I ran into some problems the night before.  Earlier on, we went out to Ama, which is an island I think that is still technically part of Copenhagen but seems in the middle of nowhere.  There we hung out with some people in a house with one of the Danish roommates.  After that, we moved on to the moose bar.  Seeing as no one EVER seems to leave the bars (they stay open until five, when morning bars open instead) we had no idea that it was past 4:30 when we decided to leave.

But I figured no big deal, until we discovered that night buses have a 2 hour time span where they just don't run.  Being stuck at Norreport, I made an executive decision to walk home and drag along Janice and Daisy with me.  We got home at almost 6, just as the sun started to rise and 10 minutes before the first bus would have come to the station at Norreport.

So...I skipped out on my tour the next day as I was in no mood to walk.  Instead, I headed to the National Museum to look at some of the Medieval art for my independent study.  It was pretty awesome...more of a natural history museum than an art museum.  They even had a whole collection of medieval shoes!  Oh and it's free which is nice.

After that I went to the Vor Frue Kirke.  This is the same church where they are doing the video installation every night which makes it look like it's on fire.  It's two minutes from school but I had yet to walk around in it in the day time.  It's apparently a very important church and the prince recently got married there.

And on a random note, I took a picture of signs I found to be amusing.  The words slut and fart are used a lot in the Danish language...I only hope they have different meanings.
