Last night, our shared housing "event" was a pub crawl where we went to 5 different bars.  Thursday is maybe the biggest party night in Copenhagen as well as the night with the best deals and semi-cheap beer.  However, it's still a better plan to go buy some beer at the 7-11 (they are all over the place) and simply finish it before you go into the bar.

Because of that, I never actually went inside the first bar.  The second bar was just lame.  At the third bar Ask (I think) bought shots for us to split of a type of bitter Schnapps popular in Scandinavia.  Apparently he got us the wimpy version knowing we would hate the real kind.  I had half of a shot and it was pretty gross.

The last bar we went to was the Australian Bar which we didn't stay at long.  Lots of creepy guys and they searched us before we went in!  Basically, they did it to steal all of our empty beer cans so they could recycle them for money.  You get between 20 and 40 cents a can here, so it's good to keep them.

After that we hung out at the fountain in the square by school.  Some Danish guys tried to teach us how to tell off guys we didn't like.  The f word, it turns out, is universal as well as useful.

I also forgot to mention the church near DIS.  The church was the main target in the bombing of Copenhagen 200 years ago as they had just developed more accurate bombs.  All week if you walk into the church after 8pm, they've actually made the inside appear to be on fire.  Basically, it's really really awesome.  I took a picture without flash and tried to lighten it a bit.
