Monday the 23rd to Sunday the 29th of June.

Having done the first half of the Coast-to-Coast last year but not having the holiday time left to finish it I started out again on the Monday. This time though from Robin Hood's bay heading against everybody that had started at St Bee's in the Lake District as I had done last year. So many people asked why I was doing it that way. The reason was my parents had just comeback from visiting Joe, my brother in Montreal, and didn't want to start until a few days after I had. My mum didn't want to do the first few days. They have already done the Cleveland way and both routes meet for many miles. They joined me on the Wednesday.

Monday 23rd. High Hawsker to Robins Hood's Bay. 4.5 miles
I got a lift with Dave to High Hawsker, York House Caravan Park, where I was to camp the night. I walked down to Robins Hood's Bay along the coast path and then got a bus back to my tent.
Tuesday 24th. High Hawsker to Glaisdale. 14.5
Camped at Priory Farm camping in Grosmont. Steam Trains! Camera played up, no screen.
