15th Dec
Our flight from KL went smoothly but Sarah was under the weather with headaches and most of the symptoms of malaria which worried us - but it wasn't TG. She was so unwell that she couldn't appreciate the amazing sunset which is one of the best things to see in Kota Kinabalu (KK) but after a good night rest she was good the next morning. The hostel we stayed in was really good and the people who ran the place were so friendly. the girl on reception that night gave the people watching tv that night a shot of scotch free of charge which was unexpected and appreciated even from a non scotch drinker. We watched the comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshel which was quite funny.
Next morning we got the early bus to Semporna, the town on the coast which is the port town for people going to the island of Sipadan for scuba diving.
