27th Nov
We arrived in KL and walked from the Puduraya Bus station to our Guesthouse in Chinatown. The place looked grotty from the road and the guesthouse was on from the 2nd storey upwards to the roof. The receptionist was a she male and the reception had about 10 different fish tanks around it with everything from the run of the mill fish to turtles in it. Our room was an internal room with no windows and no aircon - it was a sweatbox neither of us were able to sleep for the three nights we stayed there. But the place wasn't all bad it had a nice roof bar and the guy who we think owned the place was really nice to us and put on free meals for all the guests on two of the nights. That evening we went walking around the local area and wandered into the huge indoor Central market. We indulged in a foot spa - well a kindof foot spa anyway, - it was called Cute Little Fish Spa! - you stuck your feet into the tank of little fish for ten mins and then the fish went to work on you eating any dead cells on your skin. It was weird at first and tickled alot but it worked and our feet felt great after
