Yet another early start we were picked up a 7.30am by R'n'R White water rafting company and brought to the Tully River for our rafting. The Tully river is a grade 4 rafting river and since i'd never rafted before i was a bit nervous. - This was the river where Kelly had got hit in the eye by a paddle 2 months previous! Anyway Paul was all cocky as he had rafted in Slovenia on a previous holiday so he and i were put up front to set the pace and rythm. Of course first person out of the raft on rapid no 3 was Fuller! but he didn't go alone the git took me and one of the girls behind me with him. I managed to grap hold of the raft and get pulled back in but Paul and the girl were picked up 2 rapids later. The rafting was great fun and went all day with a stop for lunch. After lunch sarah decided she didn't want to disturb anyone in the afternoon so when she fell out she made no noise and only the guide spotted her gone. We picked her up down stream also. The whole day was great craic. At 5 we returned to Mission beach and we hung out with two of the girls from the rafting until we had to get the bus that evening to Townsville. Arrived late in Townsville wrecked again and checked into the hostel - This was a crap hostel and i would definitely not recommend it
