Drove from Blenheim to Kaikoura in the afternoon and spent the evening walking around the little town and doing the clifftop walk around the shore line. One of the links in my watch had broken about a week ago and a jewellers fixed it for free for me here which was very nice. We picked up a second hand Lonely planet for Oz as well here for 5 euro which was class since they're around 40yoyos at home. We booked ourselves in for our Whale watch tour for the following morning and had home made dinner in the Hiace before going out for the night.
Next morning we had to be at the the Whale company's office for 10am and by 11 we were on our Whale tour. We saw 3 Sperm Whales - big things altogether! We got some class photos of them on the surface and as they went to dive.
