We arrived today on LanPeru LA426 from Buenos aires, the flight took about 4and ahalf hours but was very comfortable with good on flight entertainment. Our hotel was suppposed to pick us up at the airport butwhen we arrived there was no sign so a sound taxi driver rang the hotel for us and the hotel agreed to pay him to bring us instead. The hotel we're staying in is the El Ducado **** star in Miraflores. Around the airport in Lima is very rundown but Miraflores is very nice. Sarah had to go rest the back once we arrived which is getting better now but her neck is very stiff at present and she has  head and chest cold so she's rightly crocked, my Spanish is getting very good as i've had great conversations with the pharmacists in the area regarding medicines required.
Wew went for dinner last night to a restaurant recommended by the hotel which was called "El Fresco"- it was a seafood restaurant and the food was gorgeous.
We're only staying a night here and then we leave for Cusco which is about a 22hour bus journey away. The hotel organised the bus tickets for us at no extra cost as the bus companies website was on the blink. Having trouble getting photos online at present but will endeavor to get them up asap.
