Safe and sound - a bit smelly

After over 24 hours of traveling, we´re FINALLY here in Costa Rica - staying at a cool hostel with lots of friendly travelers. We are SHARING a bed tonight, but got our room free because of a mixup. We´ll stay tomorrow night to get our bearings in this new place.
Surrounding the hostel is barbed wire and we drove through lots of Stop (Alto) signs...don´t worry parents. As we approached a wall, our driver honked and the doors opened to let us in this little commune. It´s awesome.
Spanish is sticky, but we´re helping each other quite a bit. Sarah knows a ton more than Brandi - thank you very much.
Bottom line - we are here safe, and are very excited for what´s ahead.
