When I arrived in Australia, Laura (this awesome girl I met in Fiji) picked me up at the airport. She took me to the Sunshine Coast (one hour north of Brisbane) to her parents house. We spent the day at the beach then went to her friend's housewarming party where I experienced my first Australian barbeque. It was so much fun and the sausages were delicious!  Then we decided to go out to a bar called Friday's where we danced all night long. One of the things that I love about Laura is that she has a great time dancing without caring about what others think. So needless to say, we were cracking ourselves up on the dancefloor.

The next day her parents fixed us an amazing breakfast. I don't think I've had a breakfast like that since I have been on the road. I normally just have a bowl of cereal. After brekky, we drove back to Brisbane and went to her friend Emily's housewarming party. She had tons of great appetizers. We stayed there for about 6 hours before heading out to Fox bar. Basically, we had another wild and crazy night. I am so impressed by the hospitality of the Australian people. Everyone is so friendly. I think that if the first few days have been any indication, I am going to love this country.

I took an 8 hour bus ride and I'm now in Hervey Bay which is the launching town for Fraser Island.

Hey Sarah..... Well the fun obviously continues. You look amazing. And your new found friends look so nice. Wish I were there with you. Auntie Karen is looking forward to seeing you in China. Sweetheart, You have seen more than we ever will. So proud. Your ears should be red everyday due to us bragging about ya. We passed your travel blog along to all our friends. Well, it goes without saying, be safe. Jen and I are getting better so don't worry. We miss you terribly. Even that brother of yours said Easter Sunday he was missing you!!!! Keep the blogs flowing and hope your camping trip went well. Can't wait for the pics.

The beach looks AMAZING! I wish I was there with you in the warm weather. Looks like you are having the time of your life. Keep posting pics and blogs so I can live vicariously through you!!!! Love ya girl!
