We flew to Brisbane and picked up our Campervan.... Our home for the next 2 weeks.

   That night was my birthday present!  Justin Timberlake was playing at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. It was a fabulous concert, really nicely choreographed and we got pretty close to him... only a couple of metres at some points. Bonus - I got asked for ID before I was let into the bar!

That night we parked up near Nudgee Beach.  Big mistake. We were awake for a large portion of the night. A drugs deal was going sour, lots of swearing and shouting... fortunately nothing more sinister than that.  Then about 5am two council workers got into a row over turf!  By 6am the car park was full of people cycling, running, meeting for breakfast, going fishing, etc!  I know the sun sets early in this country, but by Christ they make sure they make the most of the day light.
 
We spent today wandering around Brisbane visiting our favourite spots, namely South Bank and Victoria Park.  Unfortunately the city beach is closed due to maintenance :-(
