After a dusty journey from Banjul to Saly in Senegal last night - we have now arrived in Dakar.  The expressway into the city made life a little easier however the road through Rufisque and Tiaroye is still very congested.

We stayed in Grazia Maria, a small guest house on the edge of Saly on Wednesday night and enjoyed shrimp brochettes at a beachside cafe for lunch.

We had to collect Jan and Dave from the airport in Dakar. We are in Tambacounda now - so check out the next entry.
