Hi! Seems like a while since ive been on here so i thought i'd better show you what ive been up to! After Melbourne i flew to Alice Springs, there wasnt alot in the town but it didnt matter because i was getting picked up the next day to do a 3 day camping Ularu and Kings Canyon trip. The trip was really good although it was overcast and cloudy when we visited ularu at sunrise and sunset. At night we slept in swags althouth on the first night i slept in a tent because there was a lightning storm and was pissing it down! My "tap the stick" game went down well round the camp fire so had a good laugh with that :-)
The tour leaders nick name was Papa Col, who was a fantastic guide and new his stuff! I learned alot about Aboriginal culture so that was cool.
After the trip we all went out for a beer but it wasnt a late one because i was up at 6am to catch my bus to Cairns Aboriginal art on Ularu

I took the bus from Alice Springs to Cairns because it was alot cheaper than a Qantas flight! The bus company was called Desert Venturer "where the the journey is as important as the destination"....mmmm dont know about that! It was a really good laugh at nights, we slept at a cattle station one of the nights where they had a pet kangaroo called Mary!

Sorry if my grammer isnt too good, im just typing away and hoping that it all makes sense!
