Sorry I had another spell of dropping of the face of the earth as I tend to
do. Its very expensive and difficult to email in herrang. We are so busy
and sick and exhuasted all the time its hard to find time to eat and dance
let alone those fine luxuries such as emailing your friends and family to
let them know you are alive.

Life here is hectic and sleepless, but full of friends and dancing so its
good. The first two weeks of camp I volunteered in exchange for a the second two weeks of dance classes and accomodation for free. The plans was that I would work in the icecream shop both weeks, but due to some transportation and personal cognitive delay issues I ended up in Herräng a day late and, as a result, was ousted from my comfy placement in the icecream parlor and into a less desireable position. Thus, the first week I cleaned toilets hourly and sat in the cold as a mosquito target checking peoples tickets
outside the dance.

The second week was better: I regained the icecream parlor position and spent the week stuffing myself with icecream, banana bread and cookie dough,
luckily I was dancing by night so I was relatively immune the usual consiquences of
such gluttony. The last two weeks I have been reeping the rewards of my
hard work as a volunteer by taking classes. I auditioned and got into the
top level of advanced classes for both weeks. The first week I was in
denial that I would be placed so high and was convinced it was a mistake and
said I would only believe it if I was placed there the next week and low
and behold I was placed there again, but I´m still in denial. I am happy
that world class teachers saw me fit for the top level, but do feel a little
out classed in class. I´m the bottom of the barrel, but its good to be in
the barrel at all, I suppose.

Today is my brother´s birthday. Little Brian turns 23! can you believe it?!
How old we are getting, but how wise. ; )

Love always,
Sandra
