Isnīt it funny how places work. How you judge them and how one person can hate a place and another person love it? Well Santa Cruz feels to me much more relaxed than the rest of Bolivia to me. I suppose this feeling started on the plane (well maybe even at the airport when two 7 and 9 year old girls befriended me), then on the plane, the two men (no nothing of any excitement) then also decided to befriend me (I think they were gold diggers!!), then on the bus on the way to town I made yet another friend. It must just have been a friend making day with locals!
Anyway on Saturday night decided not to go to bed (well not directly anyway) and went for some dinner. There was this really cool and funny band playing so it was fun to sit and chill out and listen to them a bit
On Sunday morning I took a shared taxi, (that would be 3 adults and a kid in the back and 3 adults in the front!!!) to Samaipata
Well upon my return to Santa Cruz, the stress levels went up a bit, looks like I am off to Antarctica but this means some organsing with money and flights!!! In the middle of this decided to sort out my flights to Miami/London too, only to find out my fully flexible flight is not so flexible!!! (Stress levels were really high now!!!) My travel agent is onto it this morning, so feeling a bit calmer now, that and the big Dulce de Leche Ice cream helped too!!!)
Well need to dash have a flight to Asuncion tonight then onto Cuidad del Este tomorrow before heading to Argentina and the falls!!!! (thatīs the waterfalls for those not in the know!!!). So have a free hotel with the airline tonight - wish me luck!!!

Countryside
. Well if I thought Santa Cruz was relaxed I simply LOVED Samaipata. It was just stunning to chill out and walk around the near by country side. This is when I hate having flights booked, I could have simply chilled out there for a few days doing nothing!!! The American couple running the hotel (Casa Blanca) were so lovely too!! Would highly recommend itWell upon my return to Santa Cruz, the stress levels went up a bit, looks like I am off to Antarctica but this means some organsing with money and flights!!!
