Hangovers. Both of us. Took a while to get up and going. Ruth and her man, Alex, made us bacon and eggs, plus scones with jam. Gold. Really needed it, but I shouldn´t have had the orange juice, it made me feel a little like bringing breakfast back up. I held the feeling off for most of the morning until it went away. We met up with Kate in Camden, and walked through some markets. Crazy place, lots of punks and gothic clothing shops, plus cafes and crowds. We stopped for drinks at The Elephant Head and stayed for about 3 hours. Chloe was sensationally late, she had a large night too.
After a good catch up, we headed to south London, Kate and Chloe came with us for some of the journey on the train, but we said goodbye at Victoria and headed to Stockwell to meet another mate Gerry. We caught the bus with him to his place, but not after a second bus and a bit of a walk to his place from where the bus stop was. His place was a nice little apartment, we met his girlfriend Jo, and chilled in the lounge room for a bit before. Soon we headed out into the rain again to attend a restaurant for dinner (with a live jazz band). By the time we headed back to their house, thankfully the rain had stopped. After a warm drink we said goodbye and Gerry walked us back to the bus stop. It took Claudia and I an hour to get to Ruth´s place in east London. On weekends certain train lines undergo upgrades, in preparation for the 2012 Olypics. There are train replacement buses, but the crowds are almost too much. The ride home was smooth, just long. We crashed once again.
