While I do not have a lot of time to write I wanted to update a few things that I have learned in Bangkok so far. I will be adding pictures soon of what me and some of my new mates have been up to.

What I've learned in Bangkok:

1. Thai food in Thailand tastes nothing like that in the States.
2. You can buy anything in Thailand for cheaper than a gallon of gas in the States.
3. A massage for an hour cost only 200 bhat which equals 6 USD, and as my girls and I would say they are wonderful!
4. There are burger kings, pizza huts and subways all over but i've yet to see a mcdonalds
5. However seriously at every corner there is a 7-11 which has almost everything
6. walk everywhere because the Taxi's and Tuk Tuks might kill you. Then again walking isn't the best idea either since the tuk tuks and taxis will drive on the street and run your butt over
7. The temples are amazing and Buddism is NOT a religion it is a philosophy and way of life for these people
8. There is so much poverty but yet everyone is smiling which makes one realize that life is not about possesions but about so much more!
9.  The military men will try and do anything to scare an american woman but if you ignore them they will go away eventually. lol
10. No signs are in English so either learn to read Thai or get a map and try your best. I walked for hours lost!
