I am leaving for Asia in one week and things are getting pretty interesting. Just today I got a call from my contact in Tibet letting me know that Tibet was closed off to foriegn visitors till August. So now I must try and find someplace else to go for 3 weeks. While this trip is going to be a growth process for me both personally and spiritually it is also going to be a challenge. I keep running through the saying in my head, "If you want to hear God laugh, tell Him your plans." Every time I start to plan or do something without Him it seems that those plans fall through, but God has continued to open doors and faithfully and sometimes painfully I have had to walk through them, but yet those were some of the greatest blessings. I will be updating my travels throughout my time in Asia. My first stop is Thailand via New Delhi so after 26 hours of flying and layovers I will be out of Chicago and standing on a land that will become my home for the next few months.
