Ooops. Took the wrong ferry. A beautiful ride from Punta Arenas to Playa Naranjo on the Nicoya Peninsula, but very litttle traffic from there to Montezuma, where we wanted to go.
Hitching proved impossible so we went in the other direction, and ended up in the town of Nicoya, an inoffensive place with maybe just a tad too many fried chicken joints. We were later to find out that fried chicken joints, along with tourism, seem to be the backbone of the Costa Rican economy.
