We managed to get a ride up here again with Drew, Jen and Sumi, all from Oregon. I´d met them a couple of weeks before at Conejo and was SO happy to come across them on the beach at Pescadero. A lift back to Conejo was just what I needed.

Bruce and I spent Christmas barbecueing venison and lobsters. The venison had been given to Frank by some hunters and the lobsters were bought off the local fishermen. We also foraged for oysters on the low spring tide.

The highlight of my time at Punta Conejo was a moonlight surf on the night of the 23rd December. If you´ve never tried it, then now´s the time. It´s difficult to find a more magical experience.

But all good things come to an end, and other good things begin. Eunate flies into La Paz this evening so I´ve come here to spend the new year with her. I can´t wait. More news later...
