Hey everyone!!
The time has come where I finally know where I will be living for the next two years!!! It is a really small town called Guayayvi. It is in the north eastern part of the country. It think I am in one of the smallest Urban Youth sites in the country. My town only has about 4,500 people (or so the information I received tells me). I guess that the area I´m going to is the main producer of pineapple and bananas. I met the director of the school today. He is my Paraguayan contact. Luckily there is rurual health volunteer only 5km away, so I can probably walk to her house...or use a bike. Tomorrow I travel to my site with my contact. I´m not really sure how far it is...I´ve heard under 4 hours from the capital, but my volunteer says only 2 1/2 hours, so we´ll see. Oh, and he also said I´m 3 hours away from Brazil!!!!
Just wanted to let you know where I´m going. I´ll give you more input later.
P.S. Does anyone know Darin´s email address? Can you send it to my email address if you do, please?

So Good To Hear From You Again
Hi honey - it was great hearing from you twice this week. Very interesting - loved the photos! Congrats on your placement. Sounds like a nice place - I hope you enjoy it there. I know they are very lucky to have you. Can't wait to hear how your visit went. We have snow again! Dusty won 1st place for his Iverson drawing at the Paramont (drawing $50) so that is pretty awesome. He is suppose to sign his letter of intent to play at Brainerd CC today, but Hanowski is being a dink! Hope you are getting your packages and letters. Grandma collected $100 at circle the other day so they can buy stuff and send to you (for the kids, etc.) Think about you all the time - so proud of you. MISS you and LOVE you TONS - love, mom

Sammi,
It is soooooo wonderful to hear from you again and I am sure you are excited about going to Guayayvi. Grandpa will search it out on the map. For some reason, we are not getting your messages. Grandpa finally went into Sammip24 and it came up. Your mom ran copies off for us. Sounds like you had a full Easter with all the activites, even making bread. Do you have several choices as where to stay in Guayayvi?? HOpe to send you a package soon with coloring books, etc. Please let us know when you get settled as to what you will need, ages of children you are working with. All is well here. We love you and miss you very much. grandma and grandpa
