It is still really hot here in Paraguay! Good thing for Tererč. Tererč is mate, only cold. It is a cold...with ice...drink that has herbs and everyone drinks it here. The family, neighbors, friends all share the same glass and usually drink it a couple of times a day. Of course they also have amazing fruit juices. My family likes to make me jugo de melon. Yum! They eat a lot down here and I have trouble finishing my meals....Tony and Dusty, you would probably love the portions down here. You would only need one or two plates! So, besides the fact that I am not going to lose any weight, things are going well still. Pretty repetative most days...I have class from 8 to 5 daily. It is a lot of stimulation and thinking.
I am really excited for Saturday night. My family is going to a quince, which is a girls 15th birthday. They are HUGE! The girls dress up in what seems to be a prom dress and they have a big cake. I really don´t know what else cause I´ve never been, but I will let you know how it goes...

Hey
Well, it is good to hear that you are adjusting well. It is so cold here so I am glad that someone is getting some sun! Keep in touch and I look forward to getting your messages! Nikki
Warm wishes
Glad to hear you are settling in! Your host family there is so lucky to have you part of their lives. Enjoy all of the new things - you will never be the same after this experience. You are in my prayers, Lola
Hola Sammi
Hi Sam, sounds like you are having a blast. Drinking from the same glass, eating tons of food, sounds like thanksgiving and christmas dinner at the Parker family get together. Keep the info coming, it is great to hear how things are going. Thinking of you everyday, hoping for the best. Keep having fun and learning....and take plenty of pictures! Can't wait to hear from you again. Love always, Dad
Hey
Hey Sam! Sounds like you are having a blast down there, I wish I could be there with you instead of up here in the cold stuff. I told grandpa that I would print out your letters so he can read what you are doing and he thought that would be a great idea. I think about you everyday and I pray that you are safe and learning lots! Take care and God Bless! Love Always, Pam
Hi Sam
Hey Sam, Sounds like you are adjusting well. All I can tell you is that thank goodness you do not have hair like mine in that humid weather!!!! Take care of yourself. Talk to you later.
