Worlds Steepest Street

Flag of New Zealand  , South Island,
Thursday, April 12, 2007

Today we got up early to get on our 'Bottom Bus' on a loop around the south of the South Island. We went via the massive Clyde dam which holds 33,229,712 billion goldfish bowls of water, and then on to Baldwin Street which is the Worlds Steepest Street. Only 350 metres long but extremely steep (obviously) we tried running up it, and its pretty hard work!

Then into Dunedin itself which is recognised as the most Scottish city outside of Kilt-land. It was quite cold and wet so we mostly just chilled here for the rest of the afternoon, having a little wander.
