We thought we would take this opportunity and tell you a little bit about the people on our group.

My nice outfit

There are 4 Australians (Paul, Sophie, Lance and Angela), Two Canadians (Janice and Eric), one South Korean (Suea) and one South African (Theunis). They are a very nice and bubbly bunch. I think Paul is a very intersting character. In the first two days of the tour he managed to embaress himself, which has stuck with him for the rest of the trip! Paul and I went to see some Ruins of St. John`s Basilica in Selcuk. While I was looking around and taking pictures, an Australian family came to Paul and asked him if he knew where John was! Paul looking very confused turned to them and said: sorry Mate, but I am not in your tour group! They then burst into laughter and said to paul we know you are not in our group, but we thought you might have seen John! Poor Paul, he looked so embaressed! Later on as we were walking up to have a look at John`s tomb, he decided to put on a dance for me, by jumping on a rock and completely missing it! Auch!

The day Steve and I went for a long hike to the Virgin Mary`s house, we went with Paul and Theunis. Paul was leading, then it was me (way behind him) followed by Steve and Theunis. At some point Paul and stopped for a short break. Theunis came running to us and told us he has done something Illegal! We both looked at him very concerned and asked him what it was. He reached for his money belt and took out these two coins and showed them to us. We thought he had found them. They looked pretty ancient. He then said that he bought them off this man in a shop for 50 bucks! Auch! I thought, you have been conned! Dýdn`t say anything! later on while Paul and I were searching St. John`s Basilica for John! Steve told me that Theunis had done the test and found out that the coins were fake! The test was by drawing on a piece of paper and it had left lines! so it was lead. He was not happy! :)
