The first museum we went to was the National Museum of History. The building itself is
The second museum we were able to go to was the Science Museum. It reminded me a lot of OMSI, it had an IMAX theater and everything. That was a really cool place too. It was weird seeing stuff from the 90's that I used to play with (like game boys and Nintendo 64s) in the museum as a piece of technological history. I felt kind of old, haha.
It was around 1PM when we left the museums. Aaron and I headed back to the hotel, then took the tube down to Savile Row, which is where they have a lot of really nice suit shops where you can purchase custom tailored suits. Aaron was able to get fitted for a suit, and we were able to pick out all of the details, like the fabric, the lining, the width of the collar, and a bunch of other tiny detailed stuff that I have never even noticed on a suit before. The man that owned the store was really nice, his name was Joe. He just emitted an air of confidence and knowledge about fashion. Maybe it was just his accent, but I want to take him home with me so that he can take me shopping.
On our way home from Sevile Row we stopped at a 2 story Starbucks, it was fantastic. Then after the wonderful Starbucks of my dreams, we went into a 5 story bookstore, which was even more fantastic. My 2 ultimate obsessions, Starbucks and books. And both were multiple stories! Words cannot describe how brilliant it was.
