Caught the 7am bus up to a place called Panajachel on Lake Atitlan and then little taxi boat over to San Marcos.  Such a cool little place.  Just little path ways in the forest as the roads, and everywhere is ful of places doing yoga and alternative therapies and stuff.  It is mums idea of absolute heaven!  Not to mention its beautiful.
After sorting out a place to stay I went and had a drink at a cool little bar overlooking the lake and then sat on the beach for a whie.  Met a guy called Danny, a guy called Pan and a   girl called Sarah.  Sarah is travelling around with the cutest little puppy which she found abandoned a month ago in Livingston!  So cute.
I then went to a place called Las Piramides which is a holistic centre and had my first eer meditation class.  Was kinda cool, but think you need to get used to it, too much time to think!
While I was in the calss it started to absolutely tip it down, like torrential!  The little paths in the forest became rivers.  Got totally soaked.  Spent the evening in a little italian restuarant watching a film.
In the morning I wondered to alittle market where local people were selling alsorts of random stuff aswell as food.  Then I went down to the beach.  I found a piece of drift wood that looked quite called so I sat for the next few hours and carved it into little pendants, think I going to try and make some necklaces out of them.  Then it started to rain so went to the little bar and had a brownie.  After that it was the guy called Sams birthday so We went to his little house, right by the lake, so nice.  And basically spent the rest of the day and evening with lots of people all cooking and sharing food and playing drums and dancing around a fire, on the beach and at the house.  Was such a cool night.
The next day I woke up and got myself packed and headed down to the dock to get the boat to a bigger town called San Pedro.  I dont actually have a watch, and my phone was out of battery, so when I got to the dock I asked what the time was.  Bloody quarter to 7 in the morning!
After the shock, caught the taxi boat to San Pedro.
