So after all that and moving hostels to the original one, I went off for my first spanish lesson. Was very good but exhausting, came back to hostel and slept! When I eventually got up I just chilled in the hostel bar with a couple of aussies, and my early night still wasnt until 2am
Tuesday was basically the same again, except that as I was on my way back to the hostel in my own little world, having been trying to speak spanish for 4 hours, Neive (the irish girl from Iguazu) jumped out at me from a cafe. So went to hang out with her and johhny for a while before they went to Uruguay. Although not before promising to meet up with them on Saturday for Paddys day.
Wednesday, again Spanish, so bloody tiring I dont seem to do anything else! But Gemma had a rrived by the time I got back, so that evening we went out with few people from our hoistel and Kevin, from Urugauy. We went to a little bar in San Telmo with live music, and then onto another one, where we began celebrating Gemmas birthday at midnight. Not a good idea when you have to get up in the morning for spanish!
After I got back from my lessons met up with Gemma and gave her a cake and her present of a new english book. We then went out for yummy dinner and Gemma ordered her first steak. After that we went on to a club called Club 69 which we had been told alot about. Have to say was ok, but not what everyone made it out to be. And to top it off Gemmas camera got stolen with all of her photos since Florianapolis, so she was a bit annoyed! But did bump intot the Alton college girls again. Will be posting photos later on.
Got up and got organised, booiked bus to Mendoza, reported Gemmas camera etc. We then went and met all the irish at a hostel called Mill House. Turned out to be a Rio reunion, absolutley everyone was there. Went around numerous Irish bars throughout the evening, before at 2am heading of to Pascha the nightclub, where Roger Sanchez was playing. Was very good night, although did spend quite a lot of money, and still didnt get a lye in as had to get up to check out at 10. Not easy when you only got in at 7!
So spent the day half watching films and half sleeping in the tv room. Eventually got up and went with Ella and Holly, 2 English girls, to San Telmo market. Really cool, lots of antiques and stuff, artists and people tangoing in the street!
So 2 very tired people headed of that evening to catch our bus to Mendoza, the wine region of Argentina!
