Yes you need to walk to the castle from the hotel - why?  People stop and natter to practice their English, it gives you time to take in the local shops and sights, and the exercise will do you good.

The castle is huge 850 BC approximately, some of it made of mud bricks and straw and wood.  Reminds me of a Persian King's Helmet.  We took tea with the curator who proceeded to tell us he used to be a smuggler of petrol from Iran, we are not surprised we've met a number of people holding it all together by whatever means they can, but i have to say nothing has worried me as these people work very hard indeed to put bread on the table.

Caught the local mini bus back and sat at the back with 2 young girls in the their beautiful head scarves.  they gave  me a red rose - how lovely.

Another fantastic meal out and enjoyment of the city at night.

Breakfast was excellent a large bowl of honey for all to dip in!
